About this Site

Washington Township's website is designed and maintained solely by township employees. Originally, the Township contracted with a private graphics house to "set up" our site structure and provide us with artwork. But as the site began to grow, limitations became apparent and it was decided to give the site a fresh new look - without relying on outside help. We believe the site is more timely and accurate if updated by Township employees.

Different sections of the site have different webmasters and different contributors. Members of all departments are encouraged to contribute material in the form of important dates, upcoming events, news, meetings and employment opportunities. We welcome non-profit organizations within the south-Dayton area to submit their website URL's for placement on our Links page.
