The Washington Township Fire Department is an accredited agency providing fire and emergency medical services to Centerville/Washington Township through a cost-effective combination of full-time, part-time and part-paid volunteer staff. Fire and EMS crews respond from five fire stations placed throughout the service area.

Emergency Services

Staff members responded to nearly 6,000 fire and medical emergencies last year. To stay prepared, they receive ongoing instruction in fire suppression, emergency medical services and specialized rescue techniques. A bike patrol provides agile first response at festivals, sports events and gatherings with limited vehicle access.
