CPR Instruction for the Public

Class information and availability

One of the services provided by the Washington Township Fire Department is instruction in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). This is an important skill that can be learned by almost anyone. If you would like to protect the lives of your loved ones or friends, please consider taking one of our classes. Programs are also available to those involved in healthcare services or to those required to have certification but that are not medically licensed.

Additional classes may be scheduled for special groups or circumstances. Please contact us at least 30 days in advance to schedule a special class.

2012 Class Schedules and Information

Healthcare Providers Course

Held the second Saturday morning of each month from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This class is for medically licensed or certified persons (EMT, RN, MD, DO, nursing students or nurse assistants). This course includes adult, child and infant CPR, as well as AED instruction.  Dates for 2012 include:  January 14, February 11, March 10, April 14, May 12, June 9, July 14, August 11, September 8, October 13, November 10, December 8.

Registration is required by at least the Monday before the class. If three people do not sign up the class will be cancelled for that session. Payment must be made at time of registration.

Cost is $40. Checks Payable to Washington Township Fire Fighters Association. Books for the class are included in the registration fee.
