South Metro Child Passenger Safety Partnership: A coalition of agencies including the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, the Centerville Police Department, the Miami Township Fire Department, and the Washington Township Fire Department is working together to make sure your child passenger seats are safe and appropriate for your child.
An appointment must be made to have an inspection done. Please plan to have your child with you, in the seat, when you arrive. Have your child safety seat manual and your vehicle manual with you, as well.
At this time the fire department will NOT accept drop-in requests. To schedule an appointment for a seat inspection, please call 937.433.0152. Appointments are scheduled in half-hour increments (per seat). Typical dates include the third Thursday of every month. Contact us for exact dates.
