Information Systems Intern

Education Director

Washington Township Town Hall Theatre in Centerville, Ohio seeks education director to oversee the theatre’s education and outreach programming and to direct one or more main-stage productions each year. Typical tasks may include but are not limited to: teaching acting classes, developing and planning curriculum, creating and supervising workshops and school residencies, interviewing and evaluating instructors and outreach staff; coordinating in-school tours; assisting with season selection and auditions; directing plays/musicals. Duties are determined and performed under the direction of the Theater Manager. Undergraduate degree in Theatre required. Degrees in Acting and/or Theatre Education and professional paid experience preferred. Part-time afternoon/evening and weekend hours. 20+ hrs per wk. Salary Range: $16.07/hr. THT is a 300-seat theatre operated by the Washington Township Recreation Center and presents theatre for young audiences. Position is classified as PT Specialty Coordinator.

Specialty Instructor - Theatre

Washington Township Town Hall Theatre in Centerville, Ohio seeks instructor to teach theatre classes for ages 2 & up. Typical tasks may include but are not limited to: teaching acting and/or movement and voice classes and directing plays for young people. Duties are determined and performed under the direction of the Education Director. Undergraduate degree in Theatre required. Degrees in Acting and/or Theatre Education and professional paid experience preferred. Part-time afternoon/evening and weekend hours. Salary: $9.97/hr. THT is a 300-seat theatre operated by the Washington Township Recreation Center and presents theatre for young audiences. Position is classified as PT Specialty Instructor.

Production Stage Manager

Washington Township Town Hall Theatre in Centerville, Ohio seeks candidate to supervise all main-stage rehearsals and performances. Typical tasks may include but are not limited to: managing auditions, rehearsals, production meetings, performances, as well as supervising staff and young people. Duties are determined and performed under the direction of the Recreation Supervisor. Undergraduate degree in theatre required. Some professional experience preferred. Part-time evening and week-end hours 25-35 hours per week Salary: $10.97/hr. THT is a 300-seat theatre operated by the Washington Township Recreation Center and presents theatre for young audiences. Position is classified as PT Recreation Assistant.

Touring Stage Manager

Washington Township Town Hall Theatre in Centerville, Ohio seeks stage manager to coordinate and supervise 3-6 productions and provide additional production support as assigned.  Typical tasks may include but are not limited to: scheduling, supervising young people, driving 14-passenger van and utility trailer, managing auditions, rehearsing and calling the show, running sound and/or lights and other duties as assigned. Duties are determined and performed under the direction of the Theater Manager. Graduation from high school or equivalent required. Graduation from a 2-year accredited college or university and/or professional paid experience preferred. Part-time evening and weekend hours. Salary: $8.70hr. Box Office Assistant

Washington Township Town Hall Theatre in Centerville, Ohio seeks box office assistant to support general operations in the box office. Typical tasks may include but are not limited to: answering phones, selling/taking tickets, ushering and light administrative tasks. Duties are determined and performed under the direction of the Box Office Manager. Applicants must be at least 15 years of age. Previous work experience preferred. Part-time weekend/evening hours. Salary: $7.70/hr. THT is a 300-seat theatre operated by the Washington Township Recreation Center and presents theatre for young audiences. Position is classified as PT Program Aide/Box Office Assistant.

Scene Shop Assitant

Washington Township Town Hall Theatre in Centerville, Ohio seeks scene shop assistant to build scenery and props, assist with light installations and provide additional production support as assigned.  Typical tasks may include but are not limited to: carpentry, scene painting, props construction, equipment maintenance and electrics. Duties are determined and performed under the direction of the Technical Director. Graduation from high school or equivalent required. Graduation from a 2-year accredited college or university and/or professional paid experience preferred. Part-time weekend/evening hours. Salary: $8.70/hr. THT is a 300-seat theatre operated by the Washington Township Recreation Center and presents theatre for young audiences. Position is classified as PT Office Assistant.

Backstage Crew Position

Typical tasks may include but are not limited to: basic carpentry, sound, wardrobe and/or lighting. Duties are determined and performed under the direction of the Technical Director. Graduation from high school or equivalent required and demonstrated experience preferred. Part-time weekday and weekend hours. Some evenings. Salary: $7.70/hr. THT is a 300-seat theatre operated by the Washington Township Recreation Center and presents 6-8 productions for young audiences each season. Position is classified as PT Program Aide/Backstage Crew.
