Human Resources Manager

The township is seeking an inspired and energetic professional who demonstrates the ability to manage and administer various human resource functions, including recruitment, employee benefits, performance evaluations and workers compensation claims. Ideal candidate must have the ability to make proper decisions in a timely manner with strong customer service and inter-personal skills. Thorough knowledge of human resource laws, standards and other pertinent information is required.

Development Services & Public Works


The township is seeking a motivated and dynamic professional for the Development Services and Public Works departments. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform diversified secretarial and administrative tasks including typing and utilizing a computer for word processing. Candidates must readily apply a good working knowledge of administrative procedures and the Microsoft Office suite of programs. This position is responsible for secretarial and administrative work involving a variety of tasks and complex clerical activities. The work requires exercising good judgment in the application of prescribed procedures, methods and handling of routine operational matters. Additionally, this position must take initiative to quickly and effectively resolve routine and technical issues by providing accurate responses to public and employee inquiries.

Fire Department

Fire Marshal

Candidates will act as Code Enforcement Official, will serve as the lead cause and origin investigator, and manages the fire investigation program. This position will coordinate public safety activities between City, Township, County, State and Federal agencies. Responsible for the plan review process relating to building and fire codes. Assist the training division with the development and delivery of training programs dealing with fire code, fire inspection and fire investigation techniques. Manages the fire safety inspection program that includes hazard identification, community risk reduction and code enforcement.

Recreation Leader - Marketing/Special Events

This position provides marketing/promotion support for recreational programs, especially special events. Responsible for supervising and marketing an annual outdoor holiday lighting festival, as well as helping to develop, market, and implement additional events.
