Candidate must be able to make proper decisions in a timely manner with strong customer service and inter-personal skills. Requires thorough knowledge of human resource laws and standards.

The township seeks a motivated and dynamic professional with demonstrated ability to perform diversified secretarial and administrative tasks including typing, Microsoft Office, and complex clerical activities. The position requires good judgment and the handling of routine operational matters. Must take initiative to quickly and effectively resolve routine and technical issues by providing accurate responses to public and employee inquiries.

Fire Department

Full-Time Firefighter/EMT-Paramedic

This position performs all functions associated with fire suppression, EMS, and fire prevention, as well as station and equipment maintenance activities. The successful candidate will be driven, energentic, and possess all certifications listed for the position. Preferred qualifications include an associate degree in Fire Science or related field, Fire or EMS Instructor certification, and one year of experience in firefighting and/or a paramedic work environment.

Fire Marshal

Candidate selected will act as Code Enforcement Official, serve as the lead cause and origin investigator, and manage the fire investigation program. This position coordinates public safety activities between government agencies, is responsible for the plan review process relating to building and fire codes, and assists the training division with the development and delivery of training programs related to fire code, fire inspection and fire investigation techniques. Manages the fire safety inspection program that includes hazard identification, community risk reduction and code enforcement.
