Sheriff's Office

The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office is under contract to Washington Township to serve the unincorporated area of the township. Its local headquarters, located on the second floor of the Government Center, is staffed by the Police Director, 30 deputies and one civilian employee.

Besides street patrol personnel, the department employs investigators, a crime prevention specialist and a traffic specialist.
