VISUAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM

Members present: Mitzi Lowery, Mabel Leyes, Marlene Tiernan, Bob Harrington, Cynthia Fraley, Cheryl Mauer.

November 2006 Minutes approved. No December meeting.

Hithergreen updates: Centerville Washington Township Parks Department delivered some boulders for the landscaping project. There might be some grant money available for a gazebo to be placed at this location.

Bus Stop update: We will revisit at a later time.

Yanks Park is still in the “clean up” phase.

Mike Wanamaker will start work on the entry sign at State Route 725 and South Wind Drive. The objective is to use Sandy Spees’ rendering as a guideline.

Flags will be ordered for replacement of old ones on State Route 725.

We will try to continue the garden workshops as soon as we can find someone to conduct them.

Seedlings will be available at the Nature Nook April 22 nd 2007.

Cathy Yanko has expressed an interest in becoming a VIP member.
