Visual Improvement Program

Members present were Mitzi Lowery-Lehman, Marlene Tiernan, Cynthia Fraley, Bob Harrington, Sarah Stanton. Others present were Yvonne Dunphe, Mike Wanamaker

June minutes were approved with no questions.

Planting update: The committee complemented the plantings in most locations, but has concerns about some of the fire stations pots have died from lack of water. Bob asked about plantings at Rec West.

Marlene asked about the cars that are parked along Yankee Street with “for sale” signs on them. Wanamaker reported that Montgomery County is pursuing a “no parking” zone at this location.

Bob stated that he thinks the township is falling behind with property maintenance in comparison to other neighboring communities. He requested that Jo Postle attend the next meeting to address questions.

Yvonne gave an up date of the Master Gardeners and presented nominations for beautification awards.

The meeting was adjourned at 5:00pm
