July minutes were approved with no questions.

Planting update: Wanamaker stated that crews were watering six days a week. Pots at Fire Station 42 have died off because of lack of watering. Discussion about planting next year’s location was brought up. It was agreed upon that pots should not be placed at locations where staff does not water them.

Marlene asked about the cars that are parked along Yankee Street with “for sale” signs on them. Montgomery County Commissioners are expected to approve a resolution September 11 th 2007.

Sarah asked about pre-sale inspections of homes. She stated that it would be a good way for the Township to generate income, and this would help enforcement of maintenance guidelines.

Copies of the budget were handed out. Wanamaker will answer questions at the October meeting.

Bob mentioned about attendance of members. He would like to discuss and vote at the next meeting.

Yvonne sent out letters to the Master Gardeners about maintenance of the beds. 27 nominations for beautification awards were voted on.

The meeting was adjourned at 5:15pm
