VIP members present: Marlene Tiernan, Co-Chairperson; Sarah Stanton, Co-Chairperson; Gordon Dodane, Mable Leyes, Angela Hodson, Bob Harrington and Sandra Drain. VIP Consultant, Sandra Spees and Mike Wanamaker, Public Works Manager were present.

Spees gave updates on projects that are in process.

Drain moved to accept the designs and plants selected by Spees. Harrington seconded. The motion was passed.

Dinner reservations for Thursday, December 15 th at 6:00PM have been made at the Paragon Club.

The winter banners designed by Drain were delivered. Bronner’s will keep the screen for the banner so that additional ones may be ordered. The spring and summer banners will be ordered in early 2006. Stanton moved to have the banners installed by December 1 st. Leyes seconded. The motion was passed. Members thanked Drain for her work.

Wanamaker said that five Beautification Awards need to be delivered. The winners were not present at the November 7 th reception. Stanton agreed to deliver them.

Harrington asked about the corner of McEwen Road and Sterling Cove. Wanamaker called the county engineer regarding the completion of the project. There is still work to be done before final pavement can be completed. He suggested that residents call appropriate entities when there is a concern.

The Beautification Award signs are in need of repair or replacement. Spees noted that some are scratched and are splitting. The matter was tabled until January.

The meeting was adjourned at 5:00PM.
