VIP members present: Marlene Tiernan & Sarah Stanton Co-Chairperson; Gordon Dodane, Mabel Leyes, Sandra Drain, and Mitzi Lowery. Guests included, Jim Teske. Township staff member present: Mike Wanamaker.

Introduction of guest, Jim Teske (Centerville Landscape).

Members decided to table the election of the chairperson until more members were present.

Last meeting minutes were accepted as written.

Conditions of the Beautification Award yard signs were discussed, Drain will look into the design.

Marlene talked about seedling for the children at Hithergreen for Arbor Day and Tree City. Decision was made to talk about the topic more at a later date.

The members decided to wait on announcing Workshops for 2007.

Beautification Awards will be presented by the Trustees on November 6 th

Green Mountain Boxwood plants will be placed in the pots for the autumn and winter months.

Wanamaker brought up maintenance issues of the bus stop shelters. The group agreed to explore less maintenance options.

Drain inquired about banners. Wanamaker informed the group that it will be presented in the 2007 CIP.

Tiernan made a motion to add plantings to Service Drive with the possibilities of adding poles for banners. Lowery seconded, passed with unanimous vote.

Tiernan discussed plantings at Whipp Road and 48. Spees has approached the businesses.

The Holiday dinner will be at The Paragon on December 5 th at 5:30 PM.

The meeting was adjourned at 4:30 PM.
