WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS MINUTES
March 24, 2008
The Washington Township Board of Zoning Appeals met in regular session on March 24, 2008 in the Meeting Room of Washington Township Government Center. Members of the Board present were Mrs. Fischer, Mrs. Fish and Mr. Schwartz. Mr. Horine and Mrs. Mulligan were excused.
Call to order at 7:00 p.m.
Mrs. Fischer explained the hearing format and voting procedure.
The Oath was administered by Mrs. Fischer.
CASE A-1534 – McDonald’s Restaurant, 1570 Miamisburg-Centerville Road
Request is for a variance to allow for concrete masonry units to be substituted for brick/stone for a proposed restaurant rebuild located in a Business 2 (B-2) zoning district.
Andy Ehrhart , Zoning & GIS Manager, presented the case.
Applicant represented by Char Sullivanof McDonald’s Corp., 2 Easton Oval, Suite 200, Columbus, Ohio, 43219. Ms. Sullivan addressed the Board and explained that McDonald’s wants to bring a new facility with new features to the community. She explained the use of colors and materials. Ms. Sullivan also explained how the product will weather. They want to reorient the building.

Motion - Mr. Schwartz moved in Case A-1534 to approve applicant’s request for a variance to allow for concrete masonry units to be substituted for brick/stone for a proposed restaurant rebuild located in a Business 2 (B-2) zoning district.
Motion seconded by Mrs. Fish.
VOTE - Mrs. Fischer, yes; Mrs. Fish, yes; Mr. Schwartz, yes.
Case A-1534 approved.
