PRE-MEETING WORKSHOP

January 14, 2008

I. Dale Berry

The appointment of Dale Berry to the Zoning Commission will be submitted to the Trustees at their February 4 th meeting for approval.

II. Sinclair Community College

A representative from Sinclair Community College will be making a presentation on February 11 th concerning a levy.

III. University of Toledo Study

Gary Huff updated the Trustees on the University of Toledo’s study and asked for comments. An extensive discussion followed.

IV. Joint Dispatch

Gary Huff provided information concerning the joint dispatch project. A decision will be made at the Trustee meeting.

V. Mack Van Allen

An application from Mack Van Allen for the Visual Improvement Program was discussed.

VI. 2008 State of the City

Centerville’s Mayor Kingseed will present his State of the City message on Monday, January 28 th.

VII. Washington Trace Lighting District

The Trustees were notified that two petitions were received for lighting districts, one for Washington Trace Sections 3 and 4 and the other for Washington Trace Section 5. The hearings are scheduled for February 11 th.

All formal actions of the Board of Trustees of Washington Township concerning and relating to the adoption of resolutions and/or motions passed at this meeting were adopted in an open meeting, and of any of its committees resulting in such formal action, were in meetings open to the public, in compliance with the law, including Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code.
