I.       Revised Meeting Schedule

         Jesse Lightle passed out a new meeting schedule.

II.     Volunteer Dinner

         Wednesday, September 10th, was set for the Volunteer Dinner.  It will be held at Rec West.

III.    Joint Entities Meeting

         The Joint Entities meeting is scheduled for Monday, June 30th, at Rec West.  The meeting will be catered by Welton's Catering.

IV.     Hithergreen Report

         Jesse Lightle presented Hithergreen Center's 2007 Annual Report.  She also presented expansion plans for the school area at Hithergreen.

V.      Miscellaneous

         Jesse Lightle passed out information from a resident who has made numerous complaints on a service group.

         Jesse Lightle, Jo Postle, and Mike Wanamaker visited Joe Litvin, County Engineer, on Wednesday, May 7th.  Road improvements in the Township were discussed and centered on Social Row Road; improvements on Paragon, Austin, and Yankee streets; and a traffic light at Sheehan Road.

         There was a discussion on House Bill 521.  This bill is designed to study ways to consolidate and streamline local governments.

         Jesse Lightle presented a letter from the Park District relative to their not wanting to be part of a merger study.

         There was a discussion over joint projects between the City of Centerville and Washington Township.

         Jesse Lightle presented cost comparison information on the City of Centerville and Washington Township.

         Jesse Lightle presented an idea on completing some of the Township's larger projects.

VI.     Other

         Lee Snyder asked about the bridge of Rooks Road.

         There was a general discussion concerning a merger study commission.

All formal actions of the Board of Trustees of Washington Township concerning and relating to the adoption of resolutions and/or motions passed at this meeting were adopted in an open meeting, and of any of its committees resulting in such formal action, were in meetings open to the public, in compliance with the law, including Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code.
