PRE-MEETING WORKSHOP

January 23, 2006

I. Addendum Item for Trustee Meeting

There was a discussion on the resolution to rehire Bob Surdyk as the Township’s attorney.

II. Joint Entities Meeting

The Joint Entities meeting is scheduled for Monday, January 30 th at 6:00 p.m.

III. Clemans Nelson & Associates’ Study

There was a discussion on the results of the study relative to human resources. Recommendations were made to improve our procedures.

IV. Street Lights – Government Center

There was a discussion and a review of the plans to install streetlights near the Government Center.

V. Zoning Review Committee

The proposed date for reviewing the recommendations from ACP is 7:00 p.m. on February 8 th.

VI. City of Centerville

Mark Kingseed’s presentation on the “State of the City” was discussed.

VII. Cinema

The project is nearing completion. There was a discussion over final needs and costs.

VIII. Other

Gary Huff will be taking a vacation day on Friday, January 27 th.

All formal actions of the Board of Trustees of Washington Township concerning and relating to the adoption of resolutions and/or motions passed at this meeting were adopted in an open meeting, and of any of its committees resulting in such formal action, were in meetings open to the public, in compliance with the law, including Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code.
