PRE-MEETING WORKSHOP

February 13, 2006

I. Addendum Item

There was a discussion concerning the purchase of the banners that were recommended by the Visual Improvement Committee.

II. Joint Entities Meeting

Dates were discussed for the next Joint Entities meeting. It was suggested that the next meeting be held March 27 th.

III. Fire Station 43

There was a discussion about selling or renting the old Fire Station 43 building.

IV. Rec Center & Rec West Parking

Repaving and landscaping of the parking areas at the Rec Center and Rec West were discussed.

V. Rec West Grand Opening

There was a discussion on the status of the Rec Center project. The Grand Opening may take place as early as the second week of April. The computers at Rec West will be connected to the schools’ computer system to insure control over outside access.

VI. Computer Policy

There was a discussion on supplying computers to the elected officials and the policy on how they are to be used.

VII. Job Description for Deputy Administrator

The proposed job description for Deputy Administrator was reviewed.

All formal actions of the Board of Trustees of Washington Township concerning and relating to the adoption of resolutions and/or motions passed at this meeting were adopted in an open meeting, and of any of its committees resulting in such formal action, were in meetings open to the public, in compliance with the law, including Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code.
