I. Tour of Dispatch

There was a tour of the new dispatch area and equipment at Fire Station 41.

II. Financial Update

Mike Barlow and Jim Boehmer gave a general run down on various financial areas including: investments, payroll CD's, Great West health insurance, estate tax, and Fire/EMS billing.

III. Finance Department Update

Mike Barlow went over the status of projects in the Finance Department including the health fair, the Rec Center computer and software updates, time and attendance, human resources and promotions.

IV. Emerald Ash Borer

There was a discussion concerning options to address problems that may arise in Washington Township from the emerald ash borer.

V. Conservation Easement

Gary Huff presented a proposal for the Yeck Conservation Easement.

VI. Brighton Gardens

There will be a pie eating contest to raise money for Alzheimer's.

VII. Upcoming Events

The summer OTA meeting is going to be August 3 rd and 4 th in Fairborn.

The MCTA summer pig roast is going to be August 26 th.

All formal actions of the Board of Trustees of Washington Township concerning and relating to the adoption of resolutions and/or motions passed at this meeting were adopted in an open meeting, and of any of its committees resulting in such formal action, were in meetings open to the public, in compliance with the law, including Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code.
