PRE-MEETING WORKSHOP

I. Visual Improvement Program

Gary Huff presented a proposal to install lights in the median in front of the Government Center. An addendum will be added to the Trustee meeting agenda.

II. Year-to-Date Finances

Mike Barlow gave a presentation on the Township’s finances to date.

III. Rec Center

There was a proposal presented concerning the new Rec Center rates, effective August 1, 2006.

IV. Fingerprint Machine

There was a discussion concerning the cost for the second fingerprint machine and the parameters for using it.

V. State Route 725 and Garnet

There was a discussion concerning two recent accidents, one at the intersection of St. Rt. 725 and Garnet and the other at St. Rt. 725 and McEwen. A traffic study was suggested.

VI. Normandy and Spring Valley

Tom Toberen presented a schedule for the stoplight at Normandy and Spring Valley.

All formal actions of the Board of Trustees of Washington Township concerning and relating to the adoption of resolutions and/or motions passed at this meeting were adopted in an open meeting, and of any of its committees resulting in such formal action, were in meetings open to the public, in compliance with the law, including Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code.
