PRE-MEETING WORKSHOP

January 22, 2007

I. Sheriff Vore

Gary Huff introduced Sheriff Vore. The Sheriff gave a presentation on the proposed Countywide Joint Dispatch Program. There was an extensive discussion on the pros and cons.

II. Visual Improvement Program (VIP)

Cheryl Mauer is interested in joining the Visual Improvement Program (VIP). She gave a summary of her ability to work on this committee. Mike Wanamaker gave a review of her qualifications.

III. Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA)

There was a discussion concerning Marguerite Mulligan’s interest in being reappointed to the BZA.

IV. Addendum #1

The appointments on the BZA and VIP committees will be added to the agenda for the Trustee Meeting.

V. Addendum #2

There was a discussion concerning the appointments of Township representatives for the various groups. These appointments will be made at the Trustee meeting.

All formal actions of the Board of Trustees of Washington Township concerning and relating to the adoption of resolutions and/or motions passed at this meeting were adopted in an open meeting, and of any of its committees resulting in such formal action, were in meetings open to the public, in compliance with the law, including Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code.
