PRE-MEETING WORKSHOP

I. Proposal for Decorative Clock

Bob Daily and Richard Carr submitted a proposal to install a decorative clock near Town Hall, located in the middle of Centerville. There was some discussion concerning the cost.

II. Addendum Item

Gary Huff presented the bid recommendation for the Township’s Annual Report.

• Public Works Levy

Gary Huff presented options for a road/bridge levy.

IV. Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA)

Gary Huff announced the possible resignation of Clifford Khouri from the BZA.

V. Sheriff’s Contract

Gary Huff announced that the new contract with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office would probably contain minor modifications.

VI. Citizen Survey

The Township reviewed the 2002 Citizen Satisfaction Survey and discussed criteria for doing another survey.

• Atchison Road Traffic Signal

There was a discussion concerning the cost and the split of the cost for a light at Atchison and Spring Valley.

VIII. Town Hall Windows
There was a discussion about repairing some of the windows at Town Hall.


Weight Room
Gary Huff and Dave Paice presented plans for increasing the size of the weight room at the Rec Center.

All formal actions of the Board of Trustees of Washington Township concerning and relating to the adoption of resolutions and/or motions passed at this meeting were adopted in an open meeting, and of any of its committees resulting in such formal action, were in meetings open to the public, in compliance with the law, including Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code.
