PRE-MEETING WORKSHOP

I. Addendum Items

Vectren is requesting an easement on Washington Township property located on Social Row Road between Sheehan Road and State Route 48. A portion of this property is under contract with the Centerville School Board. They are in agreement with the easement; however, expressed they did not want a regulator in front of the schools.

Staff will be requesting approval from the Trustees to contract with Judge Engineering, Kettering, Ohio, to provide plan preparation, bidding assistance and construction oversight for Sterling Cove to bring their roads up to standard.

II. Aquatic Position

Marianne Gregory resigned from her part-time Specialty Coordinator position in aquatics. Prior to Ms. Gregory’s appointment, her position was full-time. Staff will be requesting to fill the position with a full-time Rec Leader.

III. Sign for Rec Center and Rec West

Dave Paice presented examples of potential signage for the Rec complex.

IV. Scoreboard

Dave Paice presented cost information for replacing the scoreboard in the pool area.

V. Signal at McEwen and Congress Park

Mike Wanamaker presented details and cost information for engineering and installing a traffic signal at McEwen and Congress Park.

VI. Web Server

Jesse Lightle presented information concerning the possibility of additional servers in the future.

VIII. Other

All formal actions of the Board of Trustees of Washington Township concerning and relating to the adoption of resolutions and/or motions passed at this meeting were adopted in an open meeting, and of any of its committees resulting in such formal action, were in meetings open to the public, in compliance with the law, including Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code.
