Washington Township Earns High Marks From Auditor

Washington Township has received good news again from the Auditor of State. The township has earned an unqualified opinion for its most recent audit, meaning that no material problems were found in its 2005 financial statements.

An unqualified audit is the highest rating that can be received from the state.

Audits of the township are required every two years. However, to maintain the highest accountability to taxpayers, the Washington Township Clerk Treasurer’s Office has requested that they be conducted annually.
