Fingerprinting services – which require a prior appointment – are offered 1 to 4:00 p.m. weekdays at the Washington Township Government Center, 8200 McEwen Rd.
Residents of Centerville/Washington Township can receive fingerprinting services at a reduced price. BCI-State of Ohio Fingerprints cost $22 for residents and $43 for non-residents. FBI Fingerprints cost $46 for residents and $50 for non-residents. Fees are payable by cash, check, VISA or MasterCard.
At the time of the appointment, residents will be asked to complete a brief form and provide a driver’s license or state photo ID, along with proof of address if the primary identification does not show a correct address. Township staff will take a digital image of fingerprints and send them to the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation (BCI) for a records search. Results can take up to 30 working days.
A new brochure explaining the service is available here. To schedule a fingerprint appointment, call Washington Township at 433-0152.
The township can’t provide all types of fingerprinting services. If you’ve been given a card imprinted with small boxes for each fingerprint, then rolled fingerprints are required. In that case, contact the Miami Valley Regional Crime Lab, 361 W. Third St., at 225-4990 or the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, Lebanon, at (513) 695-1280.
