Residents who have tree debris left over from the recent storm are advised to check with their waste hauler for their policies on branch disposal.
Waste haulers can provide details about their requirements for bundled branches.
Tree contractors can handle larger limbs and trees.
Yard clean-up is the responsibility of the property owner. The township does not have the equipment to handle tree removal and brush pick up.
The Montgomery County Solid Waste District accepts yard debris for a nominal fee at the South Transfer Facility, 1001 Encrete Lane, Dayton. The hours are 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. The facility is closed Sunday. To contact the transfer facility, call 225-4999.
