All that and more with Washington Township Recreation

Hundreds of programs and recreational opportunities are offered through the Washington Township Recreation Department which includes the Washington Township Recreation Center, Rec West and Town Hall Theatre. Offerings include a full range of sports and fitness programs, plus dance, art, theater, camps, teen activities, entertaining special events, and meeting/party space for groups.

The Washington Township Recreation Center is a 50,000-square-foot complex featuring a natatorium with two indoor pools and a 140-foot water flume slide, two gymnasiums, fitness room, indoor running track, indoor climbing wall, locker rooms, and two multipurpose rooms with kitchens.

Countryside Park is 26-acre park behind the recreation center with a fitness trail, play field, historic log cabin, spacious picnic shelter and three ponds.

Rec West offers 29,000-square feet devoted to recreation programming, parties, meetings and presentations, including five sizes and types of rooms.  Highlights include a game room and full-size theater with professional movie screen.

Town Hall Theatre, in the historic center of Washington Township, provides a home for quality children’s theater and educational programs.
