Daily Entrance & Pass Types

We are financed through property tax dollars.  Therefore, to be considered a "resident" you must pay property taxes to Centerville or Washington Township.  For residents to receive resident rates, you will be required to present identification such as a valid driver's license, facility pass, utility bill, tax record or pay with a check, with address printed by the bank.  Patrons (children or adults) who do not have such identification at the time of the transaction will be required to pay the non-resident rates.

General information applying to all pass types

  • They are non-refundable/non-transferrable and good starting from the date of purchase.
  • Individual pass/cards must be swiped upon entry to the facility.
  • Children under the age of three (3) are covered on their parent's pass/card.
  • Youth is anyone 18 years and under and in high school.
  • Adult is anyone 18 and older and out of high school.
  • Senior is anyone 60 years and older.
  • Household is 2 adults and all children up to 18 and/or in high school living in that household.
  • When renewing a pass, you must show proof of residency.

The Complete Pass

  • Class registration benenfits (earlier registration and reduced fees on classes/programs).
  • Reduced fees on classes/programs, fitness classes and coupon books.
  • Entry to all facility areas for open activities.

The Express Card (Physical and Aquatic)

  • No Registration benefits or reduced fees on classes/programs.
  • Entry to specific facility areas only and pass holder rates do not apply.
  • This card permits the patron to enter the area of the facility for open activity periods only designate by their card type.
    • Physical Express - Used for Fitness Center, Running Track, Open Gym, Climbing Wall (orientation required before wall may be used) and Rec West
    • Aquatic Express - Used for Open Aquatic activities only - Open Swim, Lap Swimming.
  • Should an Express Card hold wish to use the area of the building that is not covered by their Express Card, they would have to pay the Daily Walk-In rate.

Active 90 (90 Day Pass)

  • No Registration benefits or reduced fees on classes/programs.
  • Entry to all facility areas for open activities.
  • Use of the total recreation complex including the Rec Center and Rec West during open activity periods.  (Fitness Center, Running Track, Open Gym, Climbing Wall (orientation required before wall may be used), Rec West and Open Aquatic Activities - Open Swim & Lap Swimming).

Daily Walk-Ins

Walk-In fee applies to all open activity periods at the Rec Center or Rec West on the date of purchase only.  Return passes may be requested should a patron wish to leave a facility and return later on the same date (does not apply to Open Climb).

Gift Cards

Gift Cards are available at the Recreation Center Front Desk.  Anyone may purchase these gift cards in any amount.  Gift Cards may be used to pay for daily walk-ins, classes/programs, recreation account balances and/or coupon books.  These may be purchased for yourself or someone else.  They may also be re-charged at the recreation center.  Lost gift cards cannot be replaced.

Guest Coupon Books

Residents may purchase two coupon books per residence each year for the use of their guests.  Coupon Books will allow your guests to pay resident rates rather then non-resident rates.

Youth Coupon Books - $25 (10 Coupons)

Adult Coupon Books - $50 (10 Coupons)

Resident ID Card - $5

Resident ID Cards may be purchased for the convenience of our residents who do no want to carry identification each time they enter the facility.  This card can be purchased by presenting a driver's license, checkbook, DP & L bill or tax record for proof of residency.  Children (under 18) must be accompanied by a parent at the time of purchase unless school student has their own Driver's License.
