Recreation Center

Our central recreation facility features a 50,000-square-foot natatorium with two indoor pools and a 140-foot water flume slide, two gymnasiums, fitness room, indoor running track, indoor climbing wall, locker rooms and two multipurpose rooms with kitchens. Whole facility rentals may be booked no less than four weeks prior to the event.

Activity Room (Capacity - 70)

This room is 1,280 sq. ft. and located directly across from the pool. It serves as classroom space, party space and rental space. Attached is a full kitchen (176 sq. ft.), which is available to those who rent the Activity Room for private parties.

Auxiliary Gym (Capacity - )

This gymnasium is 5,600 sq. ft. with a wood floor and portable baskets. It is used for classes, leagues, and open play time.

Climbing Wall

The Climbing Wall has seven ropes that can be used to climb routes of varying difficulty. Our wall is 24 feet high by 36 feet wide.  Up to 7 climbers or 25 boulderers may use the wall at one time.

Conference Room (Capacity - 10)

The conference room is 250 sq. ft., and can be set up with meeting space for groups of up to 10 people.

Craft Room (Capacity - 30)

This room, at 800 sq. ft., is directly across from the diving well of the pool. It is used as a classroom and meeting space.

Fitness Center

Our fitness room is 1,550 sq. ft., and includes 14 pieces of Cybex Strength Equipment, along with 6 ellipticals, 3 upright recumbent bikes, 3 upright bikes, and 2 steppers, 2 treadmills, 1 rower and a cardio theatre.

Locker Rooms

Patrons are strongly encouraged to bring a lock when using a locker. No locks are to be left on lockers overnight. Any locks left on for more than 24 hours will be cut off and contents put in lost and found. Children 6 years and older must use the gender appropriate area.

• Men: Open to boys and men. Amenities include shower area, lockers, toilet/vanity area, handicap accessible toilet, hair dryers and a swim suit water extractor.
• Women: Open to women ages 16 and older. Amenities include shower area, lockers, toilet/vanity area, handicap accessible toilet and hair dryers.
• Women and Children: Open to girls ages 15 years and younger, and women with small children. Amenities include shower area, lockers, toilet/vanity area, handicap accessible toilet, hair dryers, and swim suit water extractor.
• Unisex Changing Room: A place to change and dress children. This changing area is located in the pool/guard area. Amenities include changing space and full shower.

Indoor Track

The indoor track is 1/11th of a mile and circles the Main Gym, Atrium and Auxiliary Gym.

The track stretching area is in the lobby of the track entrance and has various machines for ab workouts, a pull up/push up machine and small dumbbells.

Main Gym (Capacity - )

The Recreation Center’s main gym is 7,500 feet gym with a wood floor that contains a visual divider and seating for 230 spectators. This gym is used for leagues, fitness, open gym, and special events. The gym can be divided to accommodate two activities simultaneously.

Multi-Purpose Room (View Video)

The Multi-purpose room is 800 sq. ft., and its uses include classes, child care, and meetings.

Aquatic Center (Capacity - 460)

The Recreation Center has a 19,000 square feet natatorium featuring two indoor pools (Lap Pool and Recreation Pool). Two sun decks are adjacent to the pools.  The facility can seat up to 500 spectators for a swim meet, and features a Colorado timing system for all eight lanes of the Lap Pool.  Pool rentals may be booked no less than four weeks prior to the event.

Recreation Pool (Capacity - 120)

The Recreation Pool is a 40 foot by 60 foot pool with zero walk-in entry, tapering to 3.5 feet deep. Special features of this pool include a rain tree and turtle fountain.  Pool rentals may be booked no less than four weeks prior to the event.

Lap Pool (Capacity - 295)

The Lap Pool has eight lanes, 25 yards in length with a 1 meter diving well, 12 feet deep, and water slide entry area.  The water slide is a 144 feet spiral slide and stands 17 feet high.  Pool rentals may be booked no less than four weeks prior to the event.
