Town Hall Theatre is a 300-seat children’s theatre and is located at 27 North Main Street in historic downtown Centerville. Town Hall Theatre is dedicated to the presentation and education of children’s theatre for all ages. The theatre also offers an extensive education program with classes in acting and dance.
The Bicentennial Room is located to the rear of the Town Hall Building. It is used for production rehearsals and classes. It is approximately 750 square feet of tiled space. the room has mirrors and dance bars available for programs. This room is accessible to those with special needs.
The historic auditorium was once the hub of our community’s government activity as the first government building of this community. School graduations and meetings were also held in this facility in the early years of our community. Its unique architecture and full main stage make it a very special facility for a recreation center making the entire theatre program possible for our community. The theatre is handicap accessible and the staff can make arrangements to assist those who are hearing impaired.
The Rehearsal Room is the meeting space/classroom which is located in the lower level of Town Hall Theatre. Community groups can request the use of this space when productions or programs are not being held in the room. It is not accessible to those in wheelchairs or who have mobility limitations. This room is the home to the Community Grange and a VFW Post.
