Art Programs

The Washington Township Recreation Department's Art Program provides classes for youth and adults throughout the year.  Instructors will work with students to develop their skills and techniques.  Our goal is to help each student learn and love art! 

General Information

The course fees include student grade supplies for our students use in class.  For those who desire professional grade supplies, a list will be given to student’s during the first class, as well as suggestions as to where supplies can be purchased.  Adults, who wish to, may purchase oil paint and advanced drawing supplies after their initial class.

Students should wear old clothing. Though smocks are available, they do not protect sleeves and pant legs from media, non-toxic glues and pastes that can bind to fabric. Water soluble paint pigments can discolor fabric.

The Stolz Building is directly behind the Main Recreation Center Facility.  Parking is available near the building.
