Summer Camp

Fun for One,         Fun for All!

See our Complete Camp Brochure here.

Get ready for a 2015 Summer Camp program that's fun-tastic! Our camps build great memories with eight different options, including sports, travel, art and theater.

All camps include tried and true favorites such as outdoor games, canoeing, archery and swimming. Most offer field trips -- one, three or four days per week, depending upon the type of camp.

Camps are offered June 1-August 14 for age five through grade eight, with extended care options in the morning and afternoon. Join us for one week or stay for all eleven! For information, call Hannah Keener at 433-0130.

  • Registration is underway! Register online through this link or in person at Rec West, 965 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd.

Eight Types of Camp!

NEW! Sports and Fitness Camps

Grades 3-6

These camps offer a great balance of sports, fitness and traditional camp activities. Each week features a different sport, with related drills and games taught by qualified coaches and instructors in the mornings. Afternoons are set aside for traditional camp activities such as swimming and arts and crafts. Two fitness weeks allow campers to experience activities they may not have tried before: yoga, Zumba, Pilates, climbing wall and martial arts, all rolled into one week.

Art Camps

Grades 4-8

Creativity will be in full force this summer! Campers will create projects around a weekly theme and also enjoy many traditional camp favorites like outdoor games and swim time. Some of the weekly field trips will include art-related destinations for inspiration and fun.

Woodland Play Camp

5 years-Grade 1

Campers can enjoy games, music, arts and crafts, swimming, canoeing, outdoor play and so much more! Includes a weekly field trip, plus time at Rec West where there’s a game room, movie theatre and activities.

Backwoods Camp

Grades 2-4

Campers always have a full day with outdoor games, arts and crafts, swimming, canoeing, and rock wall climbing.  Includes a weekly field trip, plus time at Rec West to play indoor activities and watch a movie on the big screen.

Theatre Camp

Grades vary by week

Summer camp at Town Hall Theatre combines professional instruction with tons of fun!  Each session has its own theme and performances will be developed around it. Campers will also swim, play both theatrical and traditional camp games, and present their performance for fellow campers and parents.

Caravan Camp

Grades 3-5

Caravan campers travel four days a week to new destinations including local and state parks, educational sites and amusement centers. There’s also some time for fun at the Rec Center with activities such as swimming, climbing the wall, canoeing and archery.

Backwoods & Beyond Camp

Grades 5-8

Backwoods and Beyond campers travel three days each week to destinations across the Miami Valley, southwest Ohio and northern Kentucky. On other days, they take part in a variety of games and activities on the recreation campus, including swimming and climbing the wall.

Interim Camp

Grades K-8

Students who return to school later in the season get one more week of camp fun! This smaller camp includes a daily field trip, tried and true activities, and brand new offerings.
