Bypass the Ticket Line with a Presale Ticket

Wait no more! Bypass the ticket booth line when you purchase Woodland Lights tickets in advance.

Tickets may be purchased at the Washington Township Recreation Center's front desk or at Rec West's reception center during facility open hours. Presale tickets can be given to the gate attendant that so you and your family can walk right in to enjoy the fun.

Nostalgia Night tickets, redeemable any Monday or Tuesday night in December, are $3 per person. The $6 Festival Night ticket is valid any Wednesday through Sunday after the event opens December 2. Children two and younger are admitted free.

Presale tickets are available starting November 22, 2011.

Woodland Lights Season Pass

People who make multiple visits to Woodland Lights can now purchase a season pass good for any evening the event is open.

Photo ID passes enable holders to bypass ticket booth lines for easier entrance. Gate greeters will admit you quickly so you have more time to enjoy nightly activities.

Adult Season Pass	(19 Years and older)	$20 per Person
Youth Season Pass	(3-18 years)	$15 per Person

 

Season passes go on sale starting Monday, November 21, and are available only at the front desk of the Washington Township Recreation Center's main facility. The Woodland Lights Season Pass is a photo ID that each person must be present at the time of entrance. Passes are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2011 Group Ticket Information

• Children 2 and under do not need tickets. Ages 3 and older pay $3.00 on Monday and Tuesday and $6.00 Wednesday through Sunday to enter.
  
  
• Woodland Lights admission tickets are available for groups of 10 or more.
  
  
• Groups that buy a pre-sale Ticket Only Package receive free admission tickets which can save money for larger groups. 
  
  
• Packages must be purchased as described, however additional tickets are available by presale or at the entrance gate at regular price. 
  
  
• Ticket Packages may be purchased at the front desk of the Recreation Center during facility open hours. Tickets are non-refundable and lost tickets cannot be replaced.

Nostalgia Night Package Good for Monday & Tuesday Nights Only. Light Show, Santa in Cabin and Refreshments. No other special activities available on these nights. Light Show and Santa Ticket Only Package Purchase 20 tickets and receive 5 free tickets = $60.00 Purchase 15 tickets and receive 3 free tickets = $45.00 Purchase 10 tickets and receive 2 free tickets = $30.00 *In case of inclement weather on the night of your party, Woodland Lights Ticket Package purchased through a group option may use tickets on any other Monday or Tuesday night in December.

Festival Night Packages Good for Wednesday through Sunday Nights. Light Show, Santa in Cabin (from Dec 2-23 Wed-Sun Only), Deer Show, Amusement Rides, Face Painting, and Carriage Rides are available on these nights. Activity Night Ticket Only Package Purchase 20 tickets and receive 5 free tickets = $120.00 Purchase 15 tickets and receive 3 free tickets = $90.00 Purchase 10 tickets and receive 2 free tickets = $60.00 * In case of inclement weather on the night of your party, Festival Night Packages purchased through a group option may use tickets on any other Wednesday through Sunday evenings in December.

 

Rec West Party Space Available

Rec West offers holiday party space for groups who want to combine their own festivities with Woodland Lights. This space provides a warm meeting spot with a place to serve food and non-alcoholic beverages. There would be an additional charge if a group wanted their group members to utilize the game room or auditorium during their scheduled party.

Rec West Lobby Wing Rentals $50 per hour
To use entire Rec West facility everybody 3 years and older will be charged as follows: 
$2.50 youth resident
$5.00 youth non-resident
$5.00 adult resident
$10.00 adult non-resident

Contact Linda Madden at (937) 432-2820 to reserve your December party space. Party space availability, however, can not be guaranteed. Since Woodland Lights tickets have been paid for at face value, no refunds will be given because tickets can be used other Monday and Tuesday nights during the month of December. Party space rentals will be refunded if an alternate date can not be arranged.

Options For People With Limited Mobility

"Walk the path to holiday fun" may be the official slogan for Washington Township Woodland Lights. However, other options besides walking are available for people with mobility limitations who want to enjoy the sparkle and whimsy of Countryside Park.

"The path for the most part is accessible to wheelchairs. We've applied fresh gravel and packed it down so that people with wheelchairs can get through,” said Woodland Lights Coordinator Linda Madden. Strollers also can be used along the Woodland Lights path.

Woodland Lights offers a golf cart option for people who have mobility limitations but who are not bound by a wheelchair. The golf cart may be requested any night of the event simply by checking in at the ticket booth.

Meanwhile, senior organizations with their own vehicles are invited to schedule special times to drive through the front half of Woodland Lights. Groups must be scheduled in advance for Monday or Tuesday nights and must use a vehicle with the organization's name imprinted on it. The cost per vehicle is $20.

Senior Bus Tours

For those Senior Centers with participants that are not very mobile, but could tour our lighting event in their center's vehicle (van or bus), we permit pre-arranged vehicles on the front half of the path for a $20.00 charge (regardless of the number of passengers). The organization's name should be on the vehicle in some manner. There will be parking available for those groups who have some members who would like to get out and walk a short distance. This service must be scheduled in advance for Monday or Tuesday night. We will limit the number of vehicles in the park at one time. Rented excursion buses are excluded from this offer, because they can not travel along the path due to their size. Senior Presale Ticket Packages

Senior Centers whose patrons are mobile can also take advantage of our Pre-Sale Group Ticket Packages. Purchasing tickets in advance will enable the group to receive some free tickets with their package purchases. (See above) If the weather is inclement on the night your group plans to visit, your organization can reschedule for one of the specified nights listed on your ticket. These tickets are non-refundable. Plan to include this holiday event in your December festivities.
