Aqua Classes

Ages 16 & up

Deep Water Fitness

Improve flexibility, increase cardiovascular fitness, and build muscle and core strength. Buoyancy belts are provided and create a no impact workout to the joints. Participants exercise in 6-12 feet of water. A shallow water entrance is offered then class moves to deeper water.

EZ Aqua

A slow-paced, warm-water, gentle-movement exercise class that is just what the doctor ordered for arthritis, fibromyalgia, diabetes, high blood pressure, pre-surgery or post-surgery. A very social way to improve on flexibility, balance and joint mobility.

Aqua Fit

A low-impact, high-intensity, cardiovascular, strength, core and flexibility workout. A combination of Tabata, bands, noodles and weights could be used in any given class. Appropriate for all fitness levels. Instructors add their own individual style and flair.

Aqua Blast

Use the resistance of the water to improve cardiovascular fitness, endurance and flexibility. A variety of water fitness equipment is used to further challenge participants.

Splash Aerobics

This shallow water exercise class improves cardiovascular fitness, flexibility and toning. Great for beginners but challenging enough for the advanced student.

Mind & Body Classes

Ages 16 & up

Pilates

Stretch, breathe, focus, rejuvenate! Pilates improves flexibility, builds strength, and develops control and endurance in the entire body. It puts emphasis on alignment, breathing, developing a strong core, and improving coordination and balance.

Yoga

This class is perfect for those who have never tried yoga, for those who want to revisit the basics, and for families with children ages 9 and up to participate together. No prior yoga experience required. Yoga's combined focus on mindfulness, breathing and physical movements brings health benefits with regular participation. Yoga participants report better sleep, increased energy levels and muscle tone, relief from muscle pain and stiffness, improved circulation and overall better general health

Tai Chi

Tai Chi is meditation in motion, promoting serenity through gentle, flowing movements. The practice improves range of motion and flexibility, reduces stress, and provides an awesome workout. Our instructor has more than 28 years of experience as a martial arts instructor and is a 5th degree black belt.

Qigong

Qigong uses meditative movement to improve spirit and physical health.

Cardio & Strength Classes

Ages 16 & up

Body Sculpt

A resistance training class to sculpt muscles, strengthen your core and increase flexibility. Free weights and bands may be used.

Cardio HIIT & Tone

A challenging head to toe workout that will alternate between high intensity cardio intervals and low intensity recovery using a mixture of free weights and body weight. Suitable for all fitness levels.

Zumba®

Zumba mixes low and high-intensity moves for an interval style, calorie burning dance fitness party. A total workout, combining all elements of fitness - cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility and serious energy boost each time you leave class.

Zumba® Toning

Those who want to party but also put an extra emphasis on toning and sculpting to define those muscles! The challenge of adding resistance by using light weights helps you focus on specific muscle groups so you and your muscles stay engaged.

Zumba® Gold

This class introduces easy-to-follow Zumba choreography that focuses on balance, range of motion and coordination. Come ready to sweat and prepare to leave empowered and feeling strong!

Strong by Zumba®

Combine body weight, muscle conditioning, cardio and plyometric training moves synced to original music that has been designed to match every single move. In this class, calories will be burned while arms, legs, abs and glutes are toned.

TRX/Tone

This TRX class improves your mobility, flexibility, core strength, and builds lean muscle. It requires the use of the TRX Suspension Trainer which leverages gravity and the user's body. TRX is a total-body fitness program designed for both beginners and advanced members. No previous experience needed.

POUND®

Using lightly weighted drumsticks engineered specifically for exercising, POUND® transforms drumming into an incredibly effective way of working out. This exhilarating, full-body workout combines cardio, conditioning, and strength training with yoga and pilates-inspired movements. Designed for all fitness levels, it provides the perfect atmosphere for letting loose, getting energized, toning up, and rockin' out!

LaBlast®

LaBlast is a dance fitness program that inspires the mind and transforms the body, while teaching the true skill of dance. Inspired by TV's, "Dancing with the Stars", this energizing dance fitness class blends ballroom dancing with the calorie blasting properties of a fitness class. It's partner free, requires no prior dance experience and uses a wide variety of music in the class.

Intro to Core Dance

A moderate/low impact exercise class that targets all muscle groups including deep abdominal muscles that are rarely used in other formats. The class includes aerobic, toning and stretching exercises and ends with floor work to strengthen the core muscles. No prior dance experience is necessary. Students will learn basic core dance technique, including posture, rhythmical patterns, isolations, undulations, and traveling steps.

Active Older Adult Classes

SilverSneakers® Classic

Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscle strength, range of movement and activities for daily living. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball are offered for resistance. A chair is used for seated exercises and standing support. This class can be adapted by the student depending on the individual's fitness level and abilities. It is suitable for beginning to intermediate skill levels.
