The Centerville Noon Optimist Club has presented Firefighter Matt Lolli with the 2022 Robert O’Toole EMT/Firefighter Award. Matt has been a career firefighter with the Washington Township Fire Department since 2020. He came to the Township with numerous years of experience while working for the Monroe Fire Department and is the perfect example of an individual who leads, regardless of their rank in the department. In addition to his leadership skills and strong work ethic, Matt always goes above and beyond in his interactions with residents and visitors to our community. Firefighter Lolli is a true example of what it means to selflessly serve others.

The Robert O’Toole Award was established by the Centerville Noon Optimist Club in 1998 in memory of Bob O’Toole, who tragically lost his life in the line of duty on January 12, 1998. The Award aims to honor those in our community who unselfishly give of themselves in service to others.
