In the spirit of Valentine's Day, we are showcasing some of the incredible reasons you love this community so much.

Locally Owned Businesses | Whether it's the juice bar on the corner that specializes in locally sourced ingredients, the nationally recognized grocery store with the cashier who always remembers your name, or the safety manufacturing company that pivoted last year in order to serve the healthcare community - Washington Township's thriving business community has it all. With more shopping, dining, and retail choices than ever, it's never been easier to support local! So this Valentine's Day, let's show some love to our business community by sticking close to home when dining out and shopping for that special gift.

Family Friendly Events | In Washington Township, we love to celebrate you by hosting multiple family events throughout the year. With five major events and dozens of smaller events, there truly is something for everyone. The year kicks off in the spring with Family Adventure Day at the RecPlex where participants can try archery, kayaking, rockfamily adventure day climbing and more. Summer starts with a bang at the annual Americana festival and is followed by the beloved Fire Department Ice Cream Social and Montgomery County Sheriff's Office Community Cruise-In. The year ends on a high note with the area's most popular holiday light festival, Woodland Lights. These events offer a wonderful chance for our community to come together and celebrate all the reasons we choose to call Washington Township home.

Community Involvement | Washington Township has so many incredible volunteer organizations to get involved in! Each one has a different mission and all are filled with people who want to make a difference and improve our community. For instance, did you know that the Centerville Noon Optimist Club is the largest and most active Optimist club in Ohio? Or perhaps you're a history
