We Had a Great Time at the Business Breakfast!

The Washington Township Business Breakfast on October 23 provided an opportunity for business owners and managers to network, present corporate displays, and receive information about the township.

Featured this year was Ohio's Hospice and Hospice of Dayton whose leaders spoke about the organizations' mission. Dayton's Hospice moved its administrative office to Washington Township in 2018 and is planning to construct an additional office building on the site.

About 70 business leaders and township representatives attended the complimentary catered breakfast held at the Rec West Enrichment Center, 965 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd., on the township's recreation campus.

People at the buffet"Businesses are an important part of our community. We invite them to breakfast as a way to express our appreciation, share information, and learn more about how we can support their success," said Trustee President Scott Paulson.

Invitations were sent in September to businesses located in unincorporated Washington Township. "Our focus is on the unincorporated portion of the township where we provide all local services, not just fire and recreation as we do in the incorporated area," Paulson said. The City of Centerville also hosts its own business breakfast.

Business that do not receive an invitation are still invited to attend if they are located in unincorporated Washington Township.
