Sinclair College for Lifelong Learning Classes

Sinclair College instructors come to the Enrichment Center to teach these classes:

Mixed Media Art Instruction - Monday mornings

History - Monday afternoons

An Enrichment Center pass is required for Sinclair classes.  Registration and payment for Sinclair classes must be made online or in person on the Sinclair downtown campus. Go to and click on my.sinclair on the top right of the screen and follow instructions. Information on how to do this is available at the front desk. For additional assistance, call Sinclair College for Lifelong Learning at 512-5184.

Art & Creative Expression Classes

Watercolor Painting - For those wanting to explore their creativity and artistic talent, nationally recognized artist and instructor Nita Leland teaches Watercolor Painting on Monday from 1-3 pm.

Other creative classes include:

Hooks 'n' Needles - Tuesday, 10 am-noon in the center's activity room.

Quilting - Thursday, 1-4 pm, in the art room.

Independent Artists - Come for studio time in the art room on Tuesday, 9 am - 8 pm.

Wood Carving - Tuesday, 9 am-noon in the center's activity room.

Nature Chats

Naturalist Katy Lucas from the Centerville-Washington Park District leads Nature Chat at the center, bringing the outdoors and its inhabitants indoors with informative and entertaining presentations every other month. 

Books, Videos & Book Club

Our bookshelves are a Library Minibranch, with a wide selection of new and classic books and videos, thanks to the Washington-Centerville Public Library. Librarian Felicia Brock leads our monthly Book Club discussion on the first Wednesday at 1 pm.

Civic Discussions

Participants gather to discuss world affairs every Tuesday at 10 am.

Centerville-Washington History

On the third Tuesday of each month, January-May and September-November, Centerville-Washington History presents an entertaining and informative program in the RecPlex West Theater. Reception with refreshments at 6:30 pm, followed by program at 7 pm. For information, contact Cheryl Meyer at 433-0123.
