Fitness Center

Pass holders have access to the entire fitness center located in the RecPlex East building. Patrons are encouraged to complete an orientation on how to safely and effectively use the equipment and to work out whenever the fitness center is open.

Orientations dates are listed on the calendar and appointments are required.

All classes are $2.50 for pass holders, $3 for residents and $4 for nonresidents. 

Fitness Programs

Strength & Balance - Strength & Balance classes are held Wednesdays from 1-1:30 pm.

Hip & Knee Exercise - Hip & Knee exercises are held Mondays and Fridays from 1-1:30 pm and focuses on those areas most in need of attention as we age.

Stretch & Strength Training - Stretch and strength training is held Tuesdays from 11 am-noon.

Silver Sneakers Classic -
Move to the music using a variety of exercises that increase muscle strength and range of motion. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a resistance ball are used. A chair is available for seated or standing support. Classes are held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:15 am-noon.


Short Tennis - paused for the summer

Pass holders can play a mini version of tennis two days per week using a shorter court, lower net, softer ball and smaller racket. The rules of the game are pretty much the same as regular tennis and it's just as much fun. Head to the RecPlex West gym on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 11 am until 12:30 pm to see if short tennis is the game for you.

Table Tennis

If you want a great workout fueled by a little competition, try a rousing game of doubles table tennis. On Mondays and Fridays from 12:30-3:30 pm, the big gym at RecPlex West is packed with Intermediate-Advanced players honing their skills. On Wednesdays from 12:30-3:30 pm, a seasoned player teaches beginners winning techniques and rules of the game. Free for Enrichment Center members.. Registration not required. 


This fun and active paddle sport combines elements of badminton, tennis and table tennis. Pickleball is available fall, winter and spring on Sundays from 1:45-3:45p. Registration is required and the cost is $2.50 for pass holders, $3 for residents and $4 for nonresidents.
