Older adults with a SilverSneakers or Renew Active (previously called "Optum") membership included in their Medicare health plan can now enjoy all the benefits of Washington Township Recreation Department's Complete Pass.
The Complete Pass includes access to the recreation center's fitness center, running track, climbing wall and pool during open activity times, and all the amenities of the Joyce Young Center for adults 55 and older.
Renew Active and SilverSneakers members can obtain the free Complete Pass by bringing their membership card to the Washington Township RecPlex or the Joyce Young Center. Those who don't have either as part of their health plan can still purchase RecPlex and Joyce Young Center passes as they have in the past.

"It's a great time to reap the benefits of all that the RecPlex has to offer," said Mark Metzger, recreation director. "Members can visit as many fitness centers as they like. Just add the RecPlex to your list of favorite places to go to maintain your health and wellbeing."
Senior Complete Pass holders and Renew Active /SilverSneakers members can enjoy a Senior Pass Lap Swim on weekdays from 9:15 to 10 am and a selection of free land fitness classes.
Medicare participants who are unsure if their Medicare Advantage or Supplement Plan includes Renew Active or SilverSneakers, can obtain the information by calling their health plan customer service number or checking at any recreation department front desk.
