Backstage Crew
Grades 2-12
Working backstage is a rewarding and friendship-building experience that gives our participants a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to put on a show at Town Hall Theatre! For first-timers, it's a great way to make new friends and become comfortable with the process. For stage veterans, it's a fun and new way of experiencing the theatre.
Each show, our staff selects and trains an elite group of 2nd-12th grade volunteers to work backstage. We need light board operators, sound mixers, follow-spot operators, costume, props and shift crew. We also have assistant stage managers and assistant costumers positions available.
Download a crew application here or contact the Production Stage Manager for more information. You will get a confirmation email from Town Hall staff once your crew application is received. The stage manager will be in touch with more details about the production and schedule approximately two weeks before tech week.
