This enchanting version of the classic children’s story will touch your heart.  Unbeknownst to Andrew’s grumpy nursemaid, there is a life to the playthings on the floor and in the toy cabinet. When the lights go out in the nursery, Timothy Lion, Train Engine, Skin Horse, Model Boat and Velveteen Rabbit all spring to life.  Actors represent the ’spirit’ of each toy-chattering, bickering and sharing their feelings in hilarious and touching interactions.  With narration by the tender and grandfatherly, Skin Horse Spirit, you’ll laugh and cry along with the characters as they endure the trials and tribulations of their unique experiences - especially the Rabbit Spirit, who learns about love when he gains the affection of the young boy.

The Villains’ Institute for Learning Evil (V.I.L.E.)  is where all the famous storybook villains go to learn their wicked ways.  Like any school, V.I.L.E.  has its own social groups:  The Monsters, who are always hungry and love to scare people; the Witches, who make a mean brew; the Convicts, who are expert thieves and con-artists; and the Misfits, who just don’t fit in.  There are also the Evil Geniuses, who rule the school and are at the top of the food chain.  But everything is turned upside down when the smart and talented new student, Frank Stein, shows up and challenges the status quo.  Things get even worse when he falls head over heels in love, because love is strictly forbidden at Villain School.  That’s why Heidi Jekyll, the object of Frank’s desire, wants nothing to do with him.  That is, until the potion she concocts for the science fair goes awry, transforming her into a sugary sweet princess.  Faced with potential expulsion and certain embarrassment, will the forces of evil ultimately tear them apart, or will true love prevail?

When a mysterious talking groundhog steals young Ellie’s homework, she takes off down a hole and finds herself in a place where nothing is as it seems — the Land of Rejected Fairy Tale Characters.  Here, Ellie meets a crazy assortment of misfits who were cut from the fairy tales we all know and love.  There’s her shadow-fearing sidekick, Groundhog; Mac, the eighth and world’s largest dwarf; Jacqueline, the great Giant Slayer armed with a magic polka-playing accordion; and more — Indecisive Goldilocks, Sleepless Beauty, Little Red Robin Hood, Fairy Godfather, and even Big Bad Platypus.  Groundhog and the rest of the misfits make a deal to help Ellie find her way back home if, in return, she writes them into stories that can be shared with others.  But Queen White-Out and her eraser minions, Pink Pearl and Big Mistake, have other plans.  Will the misfits be erased forever, or will they find their own happily ever after?  Bursting with quirky humor and featuring a fun cast of whimsical and endearing characters, Fairy Tale Misfits is sure to keep you and your young ones laughing throughout!
