Youth Sports

We offer classes, leagues, and private lessons for a variety of youth sports. Our open gym times provide a chance for adults and children alike to shoot hoops, play a game of pick-up basketball or work on their techniques. We also offer adapted leagues so all children have the opportunity to experience the joy of recreation. Whether your child's goal is to learn a new sport, improve upon existing skills or simply have a good time, we guarantee that they will find a home here at the Rec Center.

Youth Sports Leagues

Our leagues are fun, recreational in nature and designed to teach the importance of team building. We offer both indoor and outdoor leagues so your child can stay active all year long. Leagues may include volleyball, soccer, kickball, t-ball and more.

Outdoor Soccer League

Our soccer league is an instructional league for children which focuses on skill development, teamwork, and fun! Practices are once a week in Countryside Park with games on Saturdays.

Teams are coached by parents/volunteers. Practice times/days and other requests cannot be guaranteed (unless a parent coaches) and are based upon the number of players and coaches. If interested in being a volunteer coach, contact Daniel Ruble at 937-432-2803 or daniel.ruble@washingtontwp.org.

We ask that everyone register by JULY 27 to ensure us time to put rosters together, have coaches assigned to each team and to ensure your child will have a team shirt prior to the first game. To register please click here.

We play the following format: The 3-5 age group will be a coed 3 v 3 league with no goalkeepers. The 6-7 age group will be a coed 4 v 4 league with no goalkeepers. The 8-9 age group will be a coed 7 v 7 league (6 field players + 1 goalkeeper). The 10-12 age group will be a coed 8 v 8 league (7 field players + 1 goalkeeper).

*Special note - age groups may be combined depending on overall numbers in each age group.
