The Washington Township Fire Department provides round-the-clock emergency response with personnel who respond directly from five fire stations positioned strategically throughout Centerville-Washington Township.

Fire Chief

Chief Nick Bergman directs the Washington Township Fire Department. Serving the department for the past 15 years, Chief Bergman previously served four years as deputy chief where he oversaw the department's successful accreditation process through the Commission on Fire Accreditation International (CFAI), operated as the project manager for the design and build of Fire Station 41, and managed the department's Community Risk Reduction Division.

Positions include firefighters, inspectors, mechanics, and administrative employees. Personnel also assist in areas of accreditation, training, maintenance, medical administration, public education, and clerical services.

Honor Guard
