The Washington Township Fire Department is an award-winning internationally accredited agency providing fire and emergency medical services to Centerville-Washington Township.

 

The Washington Township Fire Department's mission is to provide exceptional emergency and non-emergency services to enhance the safety and well-being of our community. The department's vision is to provide the highest quality, most effective, safe and compassionate emergency services in the region.

To stay prepared, they receive ongoing instruction in fire suppression, emergency medical services, and specialized rescue techniques. The Fire Department also offers a variety of programs focused on improving community safety, such as placing automated external defibrillators in public locations and training people in their use. Other programs are also available, including CPR training, and emergency preparedness programs such as address locator signs, and Vial of Life materials.
