2026 Police Levy

Washington Township will have a 0.9-mill police levy on the May 5, 2026, ballot. This levy can only be used for police-related expenses. Learn more about the levy.

Dust off those treasures, clear out the garage, and get ready for a red-white-and-blue tradition! Washington Township and the City of Centerville are proud to announce The Great American Community Garage Sale. The community-wide event will take place April 30 through May 2, 2026 from 8 am-5 pm daily.

Countryside Park Master Plan

The Countryside Park Master Plan provides a cohesive and comprehensive design for the 21.2-acre park, located behind the Washington Township RecPlex on Miamisburg-Centerville Road.

Review of Waste Collection Options

Washington Township officials continue to evaluate potential updates to trash and recycling service options. More than 1,300 residents responded to surveys in late 2024. In December 2025, Trustees decided to pursue a preferred pricing option. Yankee Power Generation Facility

Beginning in the spring of 2025, Washington Township has been aware of growing noise concerns related to the power generation facility at 9975 Yankee Street. Click here to learn more about efforts to mitigate this noise.
